July evening — so perfect for an engagement shoot
There’s something about a July evening that makes it so perfect for an engagement session. Warm weather, long evenings and that beautiful light — it’s hard to ask for more.
Shooting at a private residence can be a little challenging, though. Unlike a location I already know, you’re walking in for the first time and have to figure out the grounds as you go — where the light is best, which areas work as a backdrop, and where you can get a little variety in the photos.
This July evening had all the right ingredients — a beautiful couple, a great backyard and some really good light.
